CARE
Do not machine wash or dry clean oil-finish waxed garments. Brush away surface dirt or wipe clean with a damp cloth. Rewax as needed to maintain the finish and water resistance.
To reduce the possibility of oil transfer, avoid prolonged contact between freshly waxed gear and light-colored fabrics, especially in warm weather.

Reproof oil-finish garments whenever the fabric begins to look dry or shows reduced water repellency. Begin with clean, completely dry fabric and apply a thin, even layer of Harlan Field Co. Oil Finish Wax across the surface.
Work the wax carefully into seams, shoulders, cuffs, pocket edges, and other areas exposed to regular wear. Use gentle warmth from a hair dryer to help the wax absorb evenly into the cloth, keeping the dryer moving throughout the process.
Allow the garment to cool and dry completely before wearing or storing it. Reapply only when needed to preserve the oil-finish appearance, dependable performance, and resistance against changing weather.
