The Complication is a modified mecha-quartz chronograph watch featuring a luminous moon phase complication at twelve o’clock. This display adapts the VK63 movement’s 31-day register into a dedicated astronomical indication. The dial employs a two-layer construction with recessed sub-dials, combining guilloché detailing at the centre, radial brushing, and a sunburst finish.
The case and sculpted horn lugs are crafted from a single solid piece, finished with both brushed and polished surfaces. Hour indices are applied individually by hand, while the hands and moon phase disc are treated with Japanese Super-LumiNova®. A custom typeface adorns the sub-dials, referencing the World Time Clock situated opposite the original Swan & Edgar store at Piccadilly Circus. Functions include chronograph, hours, minutes, seconds, and the moon phase indication. The timepiece is completed by a curved strap shaped for direct integration with the case.
