Payment Methods

Harlan Field Co. offers secure payment options for orders placed through harlanfieldco.com. The payment methods available for a specific order are displayed during checkout before the order is submitted.

Accepted Payment Methods

Depending on the payment services enabled, your device, location, and eligibility, checkout may offer one or more of the following payment methods:

• Major credit cards;
• Major debit cards with online payment capability;
• Shop Pay;
• Apple Pay;
• Google Pay;
• PayPal; and
• Other payment methods expressly displayed during checkout.

A payment method is accepted only when it is displayed as an available option during checkout. The availability of a particular card, digital wallet, accelerated checkout service, or financing option is not guaranteed for every customer or order.

Currency

Unless otherwise expressly stated, all prices, shipping charges, taxes, refunds, and other amounts on our United States store are shown and processed in United States dollars (USD).

If your bank, card issuer, or payment provider uses another currency, it may apply its own exchange rate, conversion fee, international transaction fee, or other charge. Those charges are determined by the applicable financial institution and are not collected or controlled by Harlan Field Co.

Order Total

Before submitting an order, checkout will display the product price, applicable discounts, shipping charges, estimated or applicable sales tax, and total amount due.

Please review the complete order total before authorizing payment.

Payment Authorization

By submitting an order, you represent that:

• The payment information provided is accurate and complete;
• You are authorized to use the selected payment method; and
• You authorize Harlan Field Co. and its payment service providers to process the disclosed transaction amount.

Your payment provider may place an authorization hold on the applicable account when the order is submitted. The timing and duration of an authorization hold are determined by the payment provider or financial institution.

An order confirmation acknowledges that we received the order. It does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted, shipped, or finally approved.

Payment Capture

Payment may be authorized or captured when the order is submitted, accepted, or processed, depending on the payment method and the checkout configuration applicable to the transaction.

If an order or item is canceled after payment has been collected, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method in accordance with our policies.

Declined or Failed Payments

A payment may be declined or fail because of:

• Incorrect card or billing information;
• Insufficient funds or available credit;
• An expired or restricted payment method;
• A billing address or ZIP code mismatch;
• Security or fraud-prevention controls;
• Restrictions imposed by the payment provider; or
• A temporary technical or network issue.

If a payment is declined, please verify the information entered or contact your bank, card issuer, digital wallet provider, or other payment provider.

Harlan Field Customer Care generally cannot override a payment provider’s authorization decision.

Payment Security

Our online store is hosted by Shopify. Payments are processed through Shopify and other payment providers made available during checkout.

Payment information is transmitted through secure checkout technology. Harlan Field Co. does not directly receive or store complete payment card numbers entered through the standard Shopify checkout.

Payment processors, card networks, banks, and digital wallet providers may separately collect and process payment information under their own terms and privacy policies.

Fraud Prevention and Order Verification

Orders may be reviewed using automated and manual fraud-prevention measures.

We may request additional information reasonably necessary to verify the purchaser, payment method, billing information, shipping information, or transaction authorization.

We may delay, decline, or cancel an order when we reasonably believe that:

• The payment method is unauthorized;
• The order information is inaccurate or incomplete;
• The transaction presents a material fraud or security risk;
• The order violates our Terms of Service; or
• Processing the transaction would violate applicable law or payment network requirements.

If we cancel an order after collecting payment, we will issue the applicable refund to the original payment method.

Digital Wallets and Accelerated Checkout

Digital wallets and accelerated checkout services may store payment, billing, or shipping information within the applicable third-party service.

Harlan Field Co. does not control the account terms, authentication requirements, availability, security settings, or independent data practices of those services.

Please review all information supplied by a digital wallet or accelerated checkout service before submitting the order.

Installments and Buy Now, Pay Later

An installment or Buy Now, Pay Later option is available only when expressly displayed during checkout.

Eligibility, approval, payment schedules, interest, fees, credit inquiries, late-payment consequences, and other financing terms are determined by the applicable financing provider.

Harlan Field Co. does not independently approve or administer third-party financing accounts.

Sales Tax

Applicable sales tax is calculated during checkout based on the products purchased, the delivery address, and applicable tax requirements.

The final tax amount will be displayed before the order is submitted.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method in accordance with our Returns & Refunds Policy.

After a refund is issued, the customer’s bank, card issuer, digital wallet provider, or other payment provider may require additional time to post the credit.

Harlan Field Co. does not control the processing or posting time of the customer’s financial institution.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you believe that a charge is incorrect, contact Harlan Field Customer Care before initiating a payment dispute so that we have an opportunity to review the transaction.

Nothing in this section limits any lawful right to dispute an unauthorized or incorrect transaction with your payment provider.
